Great changes have taken place in people's lives in my hometown over the past 40 years. In

the past, a big family had to live in a small house. People kept in touch with relatives and friends

by writing letters. They listened to the radio for news and other information. They used to go to

school or work on foot or by bike.

Now more and more people live in big and bright flats. People can talk to each other over their

mobile phones or on the Internet. Almost every family has TVs and computers.Today, people still

ride their bikes to school or work, but they ean also travel by bus, taxi, or underground. More and

more families have their own cars.

In a word, people live better than before. I'm so excited to see these changes!
