1. manners

2. have heard

3. to

4. to behave
remember to do sth

5. until
根据本段最后一行"to place it on your seat until you return.

6. practice
practise(练习)的名词为practice(做法)。

7. farthest
The fork and knife closest to the plate

8. eating

9. European
and连接前后并列成分,and后是the American style,the和style之间是形容词,所以本空也应填形容词。 European

10. right
In Europe, most eaters keep the knife in their right hand for cutting, and they keep the fork in their left hand for eating.
                    Good manners in public
Good manners mean behaving politely in social communication(社会交往). A person with good manners always obeys the public rules(遵守公共规则). He is welcome everywhere(处处受欢迎) because he is always thinking of others(考虑别人). He will not push in(插队) before others, but queue quietly for his turn. He always shut off his mobile phone(关机) in libraries, theatres or museums.
Sadly, we often see some people spit in public, drop litter everywhere(随处扔垃圾), pick flowers or walk on the grass in the park, quarrel with(和某人争吵) each other in public. Nobody wants to be with those ill-mannered people(没礼貌的人)
To be a person with good manners, we must pay attention to(注意) our behaviours in public. We must be polite to others, show respect to others and make those around us comfortable. In short(简而言之), being polite costs nothing and gains everything.
