A red-crowned crane has a red crown on its head. It has a long neck and long legs. And black and white feathers cover its body. They live in wetlands and mainly feed on seeds, grass, small fish and insects. Most of them can live up to 60 years old.
Nowadays, red-crowned cranes are facing some problems. First, they have less food to eat because the environment is getting worse. Second, they have fewer babies. Third, hunters may kill them for food so it's hard for them to survive.
In my opinion, our government should make stricter laws to protect them. More people can be invited to watch them and keep them safe.
