Tigers are big and strong. They have bright eyes. They have orange fur with dark stripes. They look beautiful. They can run fast, but only for a short while. And they are good at swimming and climbing. They like living alone and hunt small animals as their food.
However, tigers are now in danger. Hunters hunt them for their fur, bones or other parts of the body. There are only around 3,900 wild tigers in the world. The number of them is getting smaller and smaller. If we don't take action, soon there may be none left!
We should make laws to prevent hunting to protect tigers better. And we shouldn't buy fur coats any more. Furthermore, we can build more nature reserves for tigers to live in.
