I gave the notebook to my father on his birthday last year.
My father is an English teacher. He is very humorous and all his students love his classes. He
is not only my father but also my friend. He is strict with me but kind to me. He cares about me
and teaches me how to be a better person. I was so thankful to him that I decided to give him a
special notebook for his birthday last year. There were many photos about our life and words about
things we did in the notebook. The photos and words record the happy time that we spent together
and keep our sweet memories. When I passed the notebook to my father, I hugged him and said,"
Happy birthday to you, my dearest daddy. Thank you for everything you've done for me!" When
my father received the gift, he was quite moved and happy. He lifted me high and kept saying "
How lucky I am to have an excellent father!
