Let me tell you something about my favourite festival.
My favourite festival is the Dragon Boat Festival. It is one of the traditional festivals in China, which has a long history. It falls on the fifth day of the fifth Chinese lunar month every year. It is a day to remember Qu Yuan, a great poet. On this day, we eat zongzi and hold dragon boat races. We also drink realgar wine, hang Chinese mugwort around the doors and carry a spice bag around with us.
What makes the festival special for me is the dragon boat race. I took part in the dragon boat race with my friend this year. I also like to make zongzi. The members of the dragon boat team have such great team spirit that everybody tries their best to win the race.
