Chinese lanterns have a long-standing history. They come in various shapes like round and square, and are often painted in bright colors, especially red which symbolizes good luck and happiness. They are widely used during traditional festivals such as the Spring Festival and the Lantern Festival to decorate streets, houses and public places, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. They can also be used for lighting in some cases. I really love Chinese lanterns. They are not only beautiful handicrafts but also carry rich Chinese cultural connotations.
