On August 16, Friday, a flood hit my hometown.
At that time, I was watching TV at home. I ran to
the road as quickly as I could. I saw a lot of people
on the road and it was raining heavily. I heard the
sound of the rain and people's screams. We had
to stay on the top of the mountain for a night.
After the flood, we found that our houses
were washed away. About 200 people died.
When we were in trouble, many people donated
money and things. I was moved by them. We
are trying to rebuild our new homes now. I am
sure our hometown will be better in the future.
