I think the famous saying “ The rose's in her hand, the scent in mine ” means helping others is helping ourselves.
I can still remember that one day, I met an old woman who was looking for her lost bag in the park. She was so worried that she couldn't stop crying. I asked people around to join me in searching for the woman's bag. Luckily, we found it. The woman thanked me for my kindness over and over again. Seeing her happy smile, I couldn't feel better. She also made my day.
Helping others is not only good for the receiver but also the giver. It makes people realize that everyone matters and and everyone can make a difference. If everyone is ready to give a helping hand, we can surely make a better world.
