Changes in my hometown
In the past twenty years, great changes have taken place in my hometown.
In the past, it was just a small village with old houses and a small population. The roads were few and narrow. People mainly walked or rode bikes. There were only a few shops.
However, now it has become a modern town. Tall buildings stand everywhere and people have moved into new apartments. There are more and wider roads. People take buses, taxis, or drive their own cars. Supermarkets, hospitals and modern schools have also appeared.
I feel really proud of these changes. They have greatly improved our living standards and made our life more convenient.
